The Author
When I was a student of MBA, one of my teachers asked us to find out about our strengths. I realized at that time, writing was mine. I had been writing a little since O levels but in Urdu. My poem was published in my school magazine of A levels. While in university, I realized writing is my passion and one day I would like to publish my own book. I tried writing a love story but it didn’t work out— but the dream of writing a book stayed with me. I wrote romantic poems and I have some of them with me till now, most of them are lost. In 2017 a ziyarat trip to Iran changed me and I promised my beloved Savior that I will only write about Islamic aspects. With time I was bestowed with the power to write sufi poems. I didn’t know Shaheed Syed Ali Raza in his life. It's like he handed over the pen to me and made me write these poems about him, including my uncle who died recently.
