I was listening to the leaves
Singing songs of their entities
I broke it apart
Shuddered in my hands, the entities faded away
The silence was deafening
Ringing in my head, chords were now clamored
I tried keeping lid on ears
It hid nothing
Clamor, clamor ubiquitous
Nothing here, nothing there
I was mellowed
Pensively, my musings ran far
I wondered, why
The silence is screeching
Then, I came to cognizance
The melody was gone
The foundation now buried
And, I was the cause.
