Blue sky and greenery, peace and serenity everywhere
Flowers blossom, birds chirping and enjoying
Calm and soothing environment, no tensions
People living happily and merily, no sufferings
Only helping each other, no envy, no jealousy
Morally and spiritually good rulers, no corruption
Kind and compassionate leaders, no oppression
Justice and equality prevail, no pride or prejudice
Progress and prosperity, no starvation, no poverty
No kidnappings, no rape, no theft, zero crime
Self independence and rights, imagine this land
Standing in the middle of this beautiful land
Wondering what this place is, where I have come
Is this real or just an illusion? so much confusion
Suddenly, my eyes move, darkness all around
Screams and cries, so much pain in the noises
I turn around to look at what is this disturbing noise
Destruction everywhere, trying to understand
This devastated place is Hiroshima in Japan
Oh no, an atomic bomb was just dropped there
Those who die are gone, left are their memories
Those who are alive, no, they are not alive
Those who are alive are like the dead, miserable
They cry out of their pain, endless sufferings
Losing the loved ones in front of eyes, not easy
Wait, Wait, Wait a minute, who bombed them?
Can a human do this with another human?
Certainly no, they are not humans, selfish they are
Once again, turning my face makes me look
A little child sitting on a devastated house
His eyes were not shining, as they should
There was no shine, no hope, no happiness
Only tears, only the pain of losing something
Looking all around with fear and despair
With tearful eyes, but what is he looking
Seeing him sitting alone, a man comes near
Holding a piece of bread, looking very hungry
Sat with the boy and offered him the bread
Although hungry, the boy refused, why?
Starvation everywhere, still humanity prevails
The land of Gaza, the land of endless suffering
Will they be free someday? Hope for the best
All around, single rule dominates the world
Might is right, tyranny and oppression prevail
No justice for miserable, no equality for the poor
Stuck in all these things, headache on its peak
Bewildered and confused, cursing the responsible
Thinking which is the reality, which is the illusion?
Can I hope the world will become like my dream?
It's hard to imagine, not impossible to achieve.
